2017 Summer Clinic Schedule

All attendees must pre-register for Clinics/Round Robins. Signup begins one week in advance and ends 48 hours before the start of the clinic. Call 401-849-4777 to register. All clinics have varying capacities; should a class be filled, you will be entered into a waiting list.

Club Members will receive a 16-punch card to be used at any of the clinics listed below. Any additional clinics (over the allotted 16) will be charged at the member rate of $40.

A drill and live ball based clinic for men.

Ladies Clinic (2.5-3.0 and 3.5-4.0)
A level-specific clinic with a focus on stroke technique, incorporating skills, and development in point situations.

Cardio Tennis (All Levels)
Hit lots of balls, move your feet and get your heart rate up! Great for those who use Fitbit to count their steps!

Adult Beginner Clinic
We'll focus on stroke technique, incorporating skills, and point development situations.

Live Ball Clinic (3.5+)
A great workout, enjoy point play without a serve or return. Helps improve many aspects of your game.

Doubles Strategy (3.0-4.0)
A different doubles strategy each week will be introduced, drilled, and then incorporated into point play.

Stroke of the Week (2.5-3.0 and 3.5-4.0)
A drill-based program highlighting a specific area of the game.



The June League

The league is formatted with different flights based on ability to make the league fun and competitive for all players involved. Players must register in advance and non-members will be required to pay up front. Call the Pro Shop at 401-849-4777 to sign up.

Round Robin Social

Thursdays, 5:00 - 7:00 pm Join us for our Wine Gathering Round Robin! Tennis is broken into 4 rotations consisting of 30 minutes each, depending on number of attendees and how doubles and singles matches are split. Meet other members, bring a friend and have fun on the grass courts! Call the Pro Shop at 401-849-4777 to sign up.

Diva Doubles

Calling all Ladies! High court/low court positions are determined at the draw party and are then based on numbers of games won or lost.




Fixed Partner League

Weekly doubles league with partners staying together for the duration of the league



The Adult Singles Ladder

This type of play is a system for ranking a group of players based on wins and losses. It is an excellent way to improve your match kills and meet new players from the club. The ladder system allows you to participate at your own schedule with 10 simple rules to follow. The cost per match is $20, which includes a can of balls along with 1.5 hours of court time. Players interested in playing are able to sign up at any point during the year. Come test your match skills and climb to the top of our singles ladder!

2016 Singles Tennis League Rules and Regulations

  • Register: Sign Up at the Pro Shop or call 401-849-4777
  • Match Rules
    • All challenge matches must be played in the best two out of three sets format with a seven-point tiebreaker played if any set is tied 6-6. Players will spin a racquet or flip a coin to determine the initial serve or side of the court
    • The Rules of Tennis will apply to all challenge matches, so please become familiar with such rules. Click HERE to learn more
    • After every challenge match the winner must report the score to the Pro Shop. Scores must be entered within 48 hours of the challenge being issued or else the players will remain in the same ladder positions. Both players may challenge immediately after any match scores are reported,but not before.
