Ryan found his passion for tennis at a young age down on Sanibel Island, Florida, and truly honed his craft on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Throughout his high school time, Ryan was voted three time state all-star, was a highly ranked junior in New England and was very much planning on a college tennis career. However, when he was seventeen Ryan found his true passion, coaching, and when faced with the question of college or continuing his tennis as a profession, Ryan chose the latter and since has had an amazing seventeen year run. Ryan has been fortunate to work at some of the best facilities in the World, most notably The Vintage Club in Indian Wells, CA, Willowbend Country Club in Cape Cod, MA and, of course, here at the Hall of Fame Tennis Club in beautiful Newport,RI.
